Memory Lab
Preserve your memories in a digital format. What is the Memory Lab?
The Memory Lab is a free service that provides equipment for digitizing home movies and scanning photographs and slides. This service is do-it-yourself (DIY), meaning we provide step-by-step instructions, but you control the process from start to finish. The Memory Lab is located on the second floor of the B. B. Comer Memorial Library and is available by appointment only. This free service is made possible by a generous donation from Bill and Laura Campbell. The Memory Lab was was supported in part by Library Services and Technology (LSTA) funds awarded to the Alabama Public Library Service (APLS) by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
